Julianna’s primary clinical interests include anxiety, OCD, and trauma-related concerns in adolescents and adults. She works with clients experiencing persistent worry, intrusive thoughts, and the emotional impact of past experiences, helping them develop greater insight, emotional regulation, and effective coping skills to support long-term well-being.

Approach to Therapy
She strives to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel safe exploring difficult emotions and experiences. Julianna takes an integrative approach to therapy grounded in trauma-informed care and tailors treatment to each client’s individual needs. She primarily utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, while incorporating cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based strategies to foster self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change.

Education, Training, and Experience
Julianna earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University and holds a Limited Permit as a Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) in New York State. She has experience working with adolescents and adults in outpatient and crisis intervention settings, with training focused on anxiety, OCD, trauma, and mood-related concerns. Her clinical work emphasizes ethical, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care.
