Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What makes talking with a therapist about my problems any different than talking with my friends or family?
A: Therapists are trained professionals, and their feedback is based in research and strategy rather than offering personal advice. This ensures that the therapist remains unbiased and helps you move closer to your individualized goals.
Q: Do you offer in-person sessions?
A: At the moment, Mindful Living Psychological Services is providing tele-therapy sessions only. If you have questions or concerns about tele-therapy, please feel free to ask your therapist more, or you can read about the pros and cons here.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: If you are not able to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged the full rate of the session.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Mindful Living Psychological Services requires that each client leave a card on file, to be charged the morning of their appointment. We accept all major credit cards and Flex Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA) cards.
